A demon of love. (mature, need_halp)

Muzai ran through the forest trying hard to keep his pace. His breathing was labored and his legs were starting to feel the fatigue from running for over an hour. He could still hear the trackers closing in behind him as he fled. 'Dammit when are they going to give in...' he thought as he dodged branches. He turned to see if his pursuers had gained on him, when he slammed hard into a tree and spun to the ground. The largest wolf caught up to him and turned into a tall man with short black hair and ice blue eyes. Muzai looked up and tried to get up and the man drew his sword and stabbed Muzai's shoulder, pinning him to the ground. "You damn turncoat, you thought that we were just going to let you leave the pack?!?" The man growled in a rough voice and he twisted the sword angrily. The wound stung intensely but Muzai defiantly smiled. "... I was hoping."

Warui smelt and lept down from a tree he was sitting on. He stretch casually and yawned. he noticed the guy on the ground being pinned down. then pounced at the guy holding the sword...

Muzai watched on at the sight of this man leaping from the tree. 'who the-???' his thought was cut off as his attacker was knocked to the ground but quickly grabbed at his dagger and lunged at this new man. Two wolves lunged at the man from behind, obviously aiming to bite onto his vital arteries. "Watch out!"The blue haired male tried to sit up, but the sword was deep in the ground. Blood flowed from the wound as he gasped in pain and laid back on the ground.

Warui quickly slashed the man standing in front of him and quickly jumps up. Landing on his feet, behind the wolfs, he lunges at one. Diffing his claws into its side, he flings the wolf at the other. He grabs the wounded man off the ground and slings him over his shoulder. he turns, crouches down and leaps to a tree. (damn this guys not the lightest kid). he begins leaping tree to tree

Muzai was passed out from the blood loss and heard a ringing in his ears. He was now lost in a torrent of nightmares and memories. His sense of feeling was now numb but every now and then he could faintly make out the sound of rustling.

Warui made it to a cave. (this place will do for now). he jumped down from the trees and entered. he lays the wounded guy down. he quickly run out and grabs herbs and plants near by. then he shoves them into his mouth and chews them. as soon as it was mush, he spit them into his hand and places it on the strangers wound. he stands and sighs... (it will be dark soon.) he gathers branches near by and starts a fire. then he creates a small nest like bed. he places the wounded guy in the nest and walks to the entrance of the cave. (i should be able to grab a few things before the sun has completely sets) He quickly dashes out.

Muzai winced in pain at the placement of the remedy at first, but after a little, the feeling of heat graced him lightly, reassuring him that he wasn't dead, and at that thought his mind hit relaxation. He slightly opened his eyes, to make sure that he wasn't still in danger, and not seeing anything but a neatly set fire, he allowed his body and mind to rest, closing his eyes he drifted off. But this time there weren't nightmares to greet him, just a peaceful feeling, and a feeling of safety...

A bit after the sun had set Warui returned with a gourd of water, a deer carcass, and a bag full of miscellaneous items. he sat the water and bag down then carried the deer out to prepare it for a meal.

After a while the smell of meat came to Muzai's attention as he sat up slowly, slightly groaning as he did so from the pain. when he opened his eyes, he seen the man that came and warded off his attackers earlier. Muzai didn't know what to say or do as he just looked onward at the peculiar cat. 'what do you say to someone who pretty much saved your life?' he thought to himself.

He walks in, covered blood, to the fire. with some meat in hand, "wow, your alive?" warui grabs some wood with his tail from a pile near by and tosses into the fire. "how would you like your meat?"

He blinked in disbelief that this man could've thought him dead, after carrying him all the way out here. "uhm... however you prepare it is fine..." he smiled a small pained smile, but he was hungry, that was a fact he couldn't ignore... He sat silently while the man was cooking, but the silence was killing him. He had to say anything to break the silence. " So... Whats your name?" he asked the man.

he places a pot from the bag onto the fire and threw the meat into the pot. "i'm warui" he stood and pourd some water into a cup then handed the cup to the guy

He instinctively sniffed the water first, then after deeming it safe, he took a drink. "My name is Muzai, and thanks for sparing me back there..." He said feeling sorry for having to burden a stranger. He stared into the cup for a while, then took another drink. He stared into the fire for a while and silently sniffed the air. He could smell blood on the man, and not just from the deer or the previous attacker.

Warui pulled his mask down. "mmm... don't flatter yourself. that guy swinging the sword woke me up." he lifts the gourd and takes a sip. then places it down. he walks back over the the fire and stirs his cooking. he opends the bag and pulls out a bowl. head back to the pot and places some meat and broth into the bowl. he grabs a spoon and walks toward Muzai. he sits next to him and blows on a spoon full of broth then placed the tip of Muzai's lips

Muzai blushed lightly but accepted the spoon, slowly parting his lips and swallowing the warm broth. "Y-you don't have to feed me..." He said softly looking down, feeling embarrassed. He didn't know how to feel toward this guy, his remarks and ways of talking were crass to say the least, but his actions were suggestive of him being kind. 'What an odd guy...' Was his thoughts toward Warui.

Warui places the bowl next to muzai. "Ok. Its hot" he stands and walks to the other side of the fire then sits with his back against the wall. He pulls his mask back up. "If... you need help, don't hesitate to ask"

Muzai nods and smiles kindly. "You ar- Are you going to eat?" He asked Warui in a curious tone as he grabbed the spoon, and winced in pain, noticing that the right arm was the wounded one. 'Well this'll make things interesting...' He thought as he instead tried using his other hand, spilling broth on it's way to his mouth, getting minimal food as a result. He blushed and looked to the side, his hair covering his face. "O-on second thought I'm not hungry..." He lied, and as soon as he did his stomach growled. "... That was just me digesting." He laughed it away.

he sighed and walked back over to his side. "it looks like i'll just have to force you" he took the bowl and spoon in hand, then prepared another cooled spoon full and put the spoon to muzai's mouth.

Muzai blushed, and opened his mouth obediently, looking with inquisitiveness at the Rough speaking, but kind cat, still not sure how to feel... He had never meet anyone as interesting as this man ever before. he swallowed the mouthful before speaking to the man. "Why are you being so kind to someone that you barely even know...?" he asked as his ears drooped a little an he felt bad about this man for having to take care of him...

Warui's ear twitched. "Beats me" he got another spoon full and fed muzai. He blushed, but it was hidden by his mask. (This twarp isalmost as cute as a pup.)

This continued till the food was gone, and after which Muzai smiled. "Thank you so much!" His catlike tail popped out from the back of his pants, and started wagging. Muzai grabbed his tail quickly and tried to hide it, his wolf-like ears folding close to his head in embarrassment, fearing Warui's reaction to a mix-breed.

He stood with bowl in hand and walked back to the fire. He pulls the pot off the fire and sets it on a flat stone. He then sets the bowl next to it. "Your welcome"

Muzai let his tail go slowly, amazed that this man didn't even flinch at this mix breed... Usually it was a very ccontroversial from where he came from. "Hey Warui... why do you live alone?" He asked, being used to a pack mentality, mostly from being raised in that respect. His ears perked up eager for the answer.

Warui stands and places a few more wood pieces into the fire. "What makes you think i live alone?" He puts his hand into the fire pit and rearranges the fire wood. The fire begans to slowly burn his han. After the wood was in order, he pulls his hand out and sits back on the other side of the cave. His hands began to slowly heal

Muzai cringed a little as Warui's hand got burned but also noticed the healing process that was obviously starting to take place. He watched on as his tail flicked to and fro with catlike intrigue. "Just a small question, and i am picking up on your actions and manurisms..." he looked over toward him. "Why are you not disgusted by me?" He asked once again looking for something to talk about.

Warui looked up at him and placed his hand under him. "That's an odd question to ask." He sat back. "I travel a lot, a mixed bread is common to come across."

"OH... in this country it is forbidden and everyone will look at us like we are a curse upon the earth... guess it means that you can't be trusted if anyone were unlucky enough to be like me..." he said looking into the fire.

He closed his eyes. "It makes no difference to me. So don't worry about it for now." He sighed and relaxed

Muzai just nodded and let out a sigh, and to which he leaned his head forward and started to doze off. At which he dreamed of nothing but darkness, which felt like it was cut too short. The thing that interrupted the darkness was the sunlight, and as the sun rose, his eyes opened slowly, taking the surroundings around him, and sat up, his wound appeared all but a scratch now... "wa- Warui?" He let out softly, and lightly touching the small wound.

Warui opened his eyes and looked at Muzai, "bad dream?"

Muzai blinked twice and his left ear folded a bit. "Heheh, no, just glad that you were still here when I woke up!" He said with a sincere smile and he slowly stood up, still lightheaded from blood loss from that previous night. "What did you wanna do today?" he asked curiously.
